Bonsai Master Ted Matson is teaching introductory bonsai classes at The Huntington Library, Art Collections, and Botanical Gardens. His class is from 10 am to 4 pm Saturday and Sunday for the next two weekends. Cost is $100. Now if I did not have plans for the weekends I would go just to learn the basics from a different sensei with a different point of view. Many of us learn the basics from one point of view all our lives yet, understanding the same subject from multiple points of view really adds that extra dimension to our bonsai.
