How long have you been interested in bonsai?
Started in 1970 at my father's nursery. He started teaching me to sell bonsai at the nursery and later did my formal training from Khan Komai (Temple City). Also learned from Harry Hirao, and later John Naka.
Do you have a specialty, resource or method that you would like to share?
I enjoy deciduous bonsai, but the challenge is learning about all species. I've also learned from my sensei about formal display (Kei-do).
What other hobbies do you have?
Brush Painting, woodworking and fishing.
What are your favorite type(s) of trees?
Now, I enjoy working on older trees and redesign and restyle them.
What are your favorite bonsai style?
Kabudachi or multiple trunk style
