On the weekend of October 7-8th, Big Joe and I had the opportunity to visit the Conejo Valley Bonsai Society Show. The Garden of the Worlds is a private garden located inside the city of Thousand Oak.
As this was the first time visiting Conejo Valley Show I was rather impressed on the display based on the space they were allocated. This show is not the professional bonsai display show but the everyday's bonsai artist show. Raw beauty is displayed in position. I really enjoyed looking at each tree and how the artist has transformed each raw stock into what we see today.
In these display you can really tell that each artist took their time and work within the envelope that they were given. Each tree has a story and that story could be heard loud and clear. If you are in the area, I would highly recommend you drop by and visit. Until the next post.
